More than 41 million Americans are food insecure, yet 40% of all food grown, processed, and transported in the United States is wasted.
Move For Hunger provides a simple solution to this massive problem. Move For Hunger is a network of more than 1,000 relocation companies that rescues unopened, non-perishable items from people who are moving and delivers them to food banks and pantries across the United States and Canada.
Move For Hunger begins its 10th year of operation in 2019, and IMAWA members have been proud supporters and advocates nearly since the beginning.
